1. Communicate with your recruiter: Let your recruiter know the best way to get ahold of you for quick or more serious questions. (Text, call, LinkedIn, or email)
2. Be honest: Your recruiter wants to know exactly what you can do, what you want to do, and what you want in an employer. We’re here to make the best long-term partnership we can! And that helps when we know all those things.
3. Be open to negotiation: Find out what a company can offer you beyond the salary range. Who knows, you might not know how much insurance/PTO/401K/working hybrid might mean to you!
4. Communicate throughout the interview process: if you start to feel uncomfortable or if something gives you pause at any point of the interview/beginning of employment, let your recruiter know! Recruiters could provide additional insight/options/could find something out for you, even after you start your new role.
5. Ask your recruiter if you need anything: Need an outfit recommendation? Driving instructions? How to pronounce a name? Ask your recruiter!
6. Refer your friends/family: Working with an agency could mean multiple industries! If you know anyone who might be interested in a different type of role, an agency could offer plenty of different options!
