I was on the hunt for a new career last year and thought I was well-connected and resourceful enough to go at it alone. After months of uncertainty, bits of hopelessness, and taking a job I knew wasn’t the right fit, I realized I needed help. I met with Jessica over coffee and downloaded all of my goals and frustrations on her. She was the most receptive! She was so easy to talk to and would double check that she was understanding which direction I truly wanted my career to go and the type of company and coworkers I was seeking (type of coworkers IS important but how can a stand-alone applicant know any of that?! RNG had alllll the inside scoop). She cared. Before leaving coffee she had a lead for me – within the week she had two more!
