The Role
They are seeking a highly motivated, energetic Sales Business Development Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships with dealers and resellers in the off-road equipment and parts sector. This role is ideal for a relationship-builder who thrives in the field, is passionate about innovative technology, and is comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time (3 weeks out of 4).
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and develop new dealer and reseller partners in the off-road equipment and parts market.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing partners, ensuring mutual success and satisfaction.
- Present and promote the value of our advanced safety solutions to partners and end customers.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales targets.
- Organize and conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and joint marketing activities with partners.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to product and marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and pipeline in the company’s CRM.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding and support.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management with a focus on dealer and reseller channels.
- Strong background in off-road equipment, heavy machinery, or related parts (experience with forklifts, construction, or agricultural equipment is highly valued).
- Demonstrated success building and managing partnerships in a technical or industrial environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and territory management abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 3 weeks per month) across the US.
- Proficiency with CRM and MS Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
