About the Role
Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to help fuel commercial revenue growth and expand their presence in new and existing markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is a key part of the company’s growth engine—building pipeline, developing strategic partnerships, and managing enterprise-level commercial accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate net-new commercial leads through outbound prospecting, research, referrals, networking, and relationship-building
- Build and manage a strategic partnerships funnel focused on commercial markets
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging industries, trends, and growth opportunities
- Own opportunities through the full sales cycle—from discovery and solutioning through close
- Manage and expand a portfolio of enterprise commercial accounts
- Collaborate directly with executive leadership on revenue strategy, prioritization, and go-to-market planning
- Partner closely with internal Account Management and support teams to deliver a strong customer experience
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and sales activity reporting using CRM tools
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account management
- Demonstrated success building pipeline and closing B2B opportunities
- Strong commercial instincts and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable thriving in a growing, “roll-up-your-sleeves” environment where structure is still being built
- Experience working with reseller, channel, or strategic partnerships is a plus
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot experience is a plus)

Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a competitive compensation package aligned with the Boise, Idaho market for similar business development and commercial sales roles:

Base Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (depending on experience)

Variable / Incentive Compensation: $10,000 – $30,000 annually
