The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the overall marketing strategy, brand development, and execution for their growing portfolio of businesses. This is a rare opportunity for a creative and strategic leader to build and scale a marketing ecosystem that connects a dynamic family of brands under one unifying vision — while honoring the individuality of each.
The CMO will serve as a key member of the leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and founders, and a catalyst for innovation across the organization. This leader will oversee a talented and growing marketing team (10+ and expanding), guide vendor and agency partnerships, and drive brand performance across both B2B and B2C markets.
What You’ll Do

Develop and execute a unified marketing strategy that strengthens the parent brand while empowering each of the 13+ entities to thrive within their markets.

Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse marketing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and alignment across all business units.

Build a high-performing marketing infrastructure that leverages data, technology, and process to scale impact efficiently.

Oversee brand architecture and positioning, ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications, digital channels, and experiences.

Guide digital and demand generation strategy across both B2B and B2C segments — including content, paid media, social, SEO/SEM, and web presence.

Manage and optimize vendor and agency partnerships, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality execution across multiple brands.

Act as a strategic advisor to the founders and leadership team, contributing to business strategy, market expansion, and portfolio-level storytelling.

Champion the voice of the customer across all entities — driving initiatives that build awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
Who You Are

A strategic and hands-on leader with 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles.

Experienced in managing multi-brand portfolios, ideally spanning real estate, AEC, and consumer or service-oriented industries.

A creative problem-solver with a strong foundation in brand, digital, content, and performance marketing.

Skilled in team leadership and people development, with a passion for coaching and empowering others. You easily straddle a balance between collaborative and assertive.

Adept at navigating complex organizations, balancing centralized marketing direction with the unique needs of individual entities.

Background in agency or consulting environments preferred — understands how to move quickly, manage stakeholders, and deliver exceptional work.
