Office Manager / Chief of Staff

  • Location Eagle, ID
  • Salary $100k/year - 125k/year
  • Job Type Full Time
  • Posted October 10, 2025

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and fast-evolving organization headquartered in Eagle, Idaho, is seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Office Manager to support a high-powered executive team and ensure the smooth operation of a growing company.

This is not a traditional administrative position — it’s a role designed for a strategic, anticipatory professional who thrives on creating order from complexity, foreseeing needs before they arise, and enabling leaders to operate at their highest level. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional organizational ability with emotional intelligence, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset.

As the company continues to scale, this position is intentionally structured to evolve into a Chief of Staff role, supporting executive alignment, communication, and strategic execution across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a professional, efficient, and high-functioning work environment.
  • Manage vendor relationships, facilities, supplies, and internal logistics with attention to detail and cost awareness.
  • Coordinate team communications, internal events, and cultural initiatives to foster engagement and cohesion.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline systems and improve operational processes.

Executive Support & Coordination

  • Partner closely with the executive leadership team to manage calendars, priorities, and key initiatives.
  • Anticipate needs, remove obstacles, and create the structure needed for executives to focus on strategic goals.
  • Draft and manage correspondence, reports, and presentation materials on behalf of leadership.
  • Facilitate communication across departments, ensuring clarity, accountability, and follow-through on key decisions.

Strategic Partnership & Growth

  • Develop a deep understanding of organizational priorities, culture, and strategy.
  • Take on special projects and strategic initiatives that advance company objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Grow into a Chief of Staff position by demonstrating strong judgment, strategic insight, and leadership capacity.

Qualifications & Attributes

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in office management, executive administration, or operations within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of anticipating needs, managing competing priorities, and maintaining exceptional organization.
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with strong professionalism and discretion.
  • High proficiency with office productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, project management software).

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting C-suite executives, founders, or partners in a growth-oriented or entrepreneurial setting.
  • Background in operations, project management, or business administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Personal Attributes:

  • Low ego, high initiative: humble, adaptable, and driven by team success over personal recognition.
  • Forward-thinking: anticipates challenges and identifies solutions before they’re needed.
  • Trusted partner: exercises sound judgment, confidentiality, and reliability in all interactions.
  • Organized and composed: thrives in fast-moving environments without sacrificing precision or calm.

Why This Role Matters

This position offers a rare opportunity to work closely with a visionary executive team, building systems and structure that support long-term growth. For the right individual, this role will naturally expand into a Chief of Staff capacity, providing increasing strategic impact and leadership visibility.

If you are a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys making things run smoothly and wants to grow alongside an ambitious leadership team, we’d love to hear from you.
